Camp Policies
Sobriety and respectful wellness practices:
Our goal is to have a safe space for all people, and also strike a balance for those who are sober, and those who use medical substances such as cannabis for personal wellness.
Alcohol and smoking-tobacco are not welcome at camp.
Smoking and vaping are not permitted at camp
Discreet THC use is allowed for personal and/or medicinal purposes. Please limit all cannabis consumption to edibles and tinctures only, and keep use low-key and respectful of others’ space.
Our COVID policies:
The health and safety of our camp community is a top priority. While our camp takes place primarily outdoors – which greatly reduces risk – we still take precautions to protect everyone’s well-being.
Here’s what we ask of all campers:
Pre-Camp Testing Required: To help keep our camp community safe, all participants must test for COVID-19 before arrival. Here’s what you need to know:
Traveling on public transit? Please wear a high-quality mask.
Forgot to test? We’ll have a few tests available on-site.
Stay Home if Sick: If you’re feeling unwell or showing any symptoms (even mild ones), please stay home. We will do our best to help fill your spot and issue a refund per our cancellation policy.
Masking Optional:
Masks are not required but always welcome, especially in shared indoor or enclosed spaces. KN-95 masks will be available on-site for anyone who wants one. If you develop respiratory symptoms, we will ask you to wear a mask.
Respect Personal Space & Comfort:
We encourage everyone to be mindful of others’ comfort levels. Some folks may still prefer masks or distancing. Please be respectful.
Photos/Privacy:
We want everyone at camp to feel safe, respected, and fully present. Photos can be a wonderful way to capture the spirit of camp, but they can also affect privacy. Please read and follow these guidelines:
Consent comes first: Always ask before taking someone’s photo. Never assume. It’s important that everyone has the choice to be included or not.
Campers’ privacy: Photos that clearly show other campers should not be posted publicly (social media, websites, etc.) unless everyone pictured has given permission.
Personal sharing: You’re welcome to take photos for your own memories, but please be mindful about sharing them beyond camp.
Camp promotion: Some photos may be taken by designated organizers to share the magic of camp on the website, social media, and future promotions. If you prefer not to be photographed at all, you’ll have the option to let us know in advance and we’ll help ensure your privacy.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that plans can change, and we’ll do our best to work with you. Please review our policy below:
Full Refunds: If you cancel at least 14 days before camp starts, you’ll receive a full refund (minus any processing fees).
Within 2 Weeks of Camp: No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 14 days of camp – unless we’re able to fill your spot from our wait-list or you find someone to take your place.
If we can fill your spot, we will refund you up to the amount we’re able to recover from the replacement camper (minus any processing fees).
For example: If you paid $900 and your replacement registers at the BIPOC reparations rate of $10, your refund would reflect that $10 (minus fees).
We recognize the wide range in registration rates reflects our values around economic justice and community care, and we do our best to apply our refund policy in a way that’s fair to both the camper and the sustainability of camp.
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer credits toward future camps for this year.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing (email is fine).
Pets:
No pets are allowed, for the safety of your pets and the farm animals on the land, please leave pets at home.
