Food

We serve three hot meals a day, cooked with love by the amazing kitchen crew on location. First meal is dinner on Thursday, last meal is lunch on Sunday.

Sleep

Camp has several sleeping options, from rustic cabins with bunk beds, to rooms in a farmhouse.

  • Sleeping accommodations will not be assigned in advance, except for those with specific mobility or accessibility needs. When you arrive, you will choose from the available sleeping spaces on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • All sleeping spaces require you to bring your own bedding, such as a sleeping bag, sheets and blankets, pillow, and any other sleep comforts you need. Mattresses are provided in all spaces, but no linens or bedding are supplied.

  • Evenings and early mornings can be chilly, especially in open-air cabins or hammock setups. Please plan accordingly by bringing warm layers, extra blankets, or a cold-weather sleeping bag to ensure your comfort.

Terrain

Camp is hosted on a well-maintained summer camp property. There are a wide range of terrain types: from grassy rolling fields and drive-able dirt roads, to more rugged steep and uneven gravel or dirt pathways, to natural hiking-style trails.

The farmhouse (including dining area and indoor bunkrooms) are located on a sloping grassy field. This main gentle hill is also home to activity barns where camp workshops and gatherings take place.

  • There are a couple steps leading to a ramp to gain access to the farmhouse. There are also indoor stairs leading to all indoor bunkrooms.

  • The activity barns both have a full set of stairs to enter.

The cabins near the farmhouse are accessed via lightly maintained, natural hiking trails. Sometimes brush overhangs the pathways, and there is an occasional plank bridge to cover wet areas.  Access to the lower cabin area and lakefront is more challenging, with steeper slopes, gravel, etc. The farmhouse offers indoor showers and toilets, while the cabin areas have outdoor showers and composting toilets accessed by short sets of stairs.

We will have access to a golf cart shuttle to assist folks with disabilities/access needs.

Cell Reception & Wi-Fi

Cell phone reception is very limited. However there is Wi-Fi access available. We encourage folks to unplug as much as possible and be present with the camp experience, while trusting everyone to use their best judgment around their connectivity needs.

Non-Camp Folks on Site

There will be some non-trans masc folks present, since where camp will be is also home to some folks who live and work on site. While they won’t be participating in camp programming, you may see them around and interact with them, especially those who are part of the kitchen crew helping prepare our meals. Camp spaces will still be just for us!

Sanitation

Indoor flush toilets and showers are available in the farmhouse in addition to composting outhouses and outdoor shower facilities sprinkled throughout the cabin areas. Hot water is available in all showers.
